Who We Are

Boat World is run by real boat owners — a Gulf Coast fishing captain, a bluewater sailor, and a new boat owner who made every rookie mistake so you don't have to. We test marine gear the hard way: on the water, in the sun, with real consequences if we get it wrong.

We started this site because we were tired of reading marine gear reviews that read like marketing copy. You deserve better. You deserve the truth about what works, what breaks, and what's not worth your money.
