General Description

This Stevens 47 is a Sparkman and Stevens designed yacht built at the Queen Long Ship Yacht in Taiwan. This model was later known as the Hylas 47 and then the Hylas 49 which had a number of different layout configurations. 57 Stevens 47s were built by the Queen Long Ship Yard.
Her interior finish is exceptional as this Stevens 47 has just completed her internal refit and refinish in Thailand. She looks great and you can see the money that has been spent to get her to this very pleasing standard of finish.

The Stevens 47 is a great comfortable world cruiser whose interior layout is modern and seen in many of today's later model ocean wanderers. Of note is the aft large double cabin with very comfortable ensuite shower and head space, great galley with vast bench space and spacious saloon with solid fold out teak table . The guest area forward comprises of 2 single bunks in one cabin , one V-berth forward and a shared shower and head to starboard . The head room internally is over 6 ft throughout .The navigation station is well laid out , comprehensive ,elevated from the main teak holly sole and forward facing

The external aesthetics and set up is as pleasing as the interior . A nice aft deck is surrounded by a stainless steel pull pit which houses the directional solar panels. A custom stainless gate aft compliments the folding transom boarding ladder. Additionally there is a custom stainless steel boarding ladder to port. For convenience and ease there is an out board davit aft and opposite to starboard is the wind generator. If you could think of the inventory you would like on a worlds cruising boat then this Stevens 47 will probably have it. The Cutter rig is powerful in light conditions and will suit the rougher open ocean. The centre cock pit is large and is well protected by the dodger and bimni. The main sheeting lines are powered by the 5 well sized and self tailing winches surrounding the cockpit. There is comprehensive electronics in both the pedestal and mounted forward in the cock pit.
