General Description

This yacht was designed and professionally built by her owners as a serious blue-water cruising yacht easily handled by two people. During its first few years of sailing it has proven fast, safe and very comfortable to live-aboard, drawing admiring glances from those who have seen it with it s plumb bow and striking grey/red colour scheme.

It is a flush decked yacht with a large center cockpit and hard dodger, enabling the cockpit to convert to another sleeping area using side and rear curtains. The deck layout is clean and simple, whilst twin furling headsails and a fully battened mainsail make the most from the available breeze. Below decks, two double cabins with en-suite facilities are spacious, light and well aired.

Hull is 25mm Western Red Cedar, strip planked with 1200 gram quadriaxial cloth on both sides. All Epoxy construction.

Deck is 6mm ply/ 15mm divinycell foam / 6mm ply / 800 gram biaxial cloth in epoxy. All the exterior is painted in 2 pack Sterling paint. 12 moonlight hatches. Keel is fabricated from steel with lead ballast in lower portion, 80 gal. keel diesel tank. Rudder has a Carbon/Epoxy stock and a foam/kevlar blade.
