1983 CHRIS-CRAFT 28 Catalina, 1983 Chris-Craft 28 Catalina - This classy family cruiser has a nice deep/safe cockpit. The hardtop and full enclosure offer very nice/unobstructed views of the water in any type of weather. Powered by a single 5.0 liter Fresh Water Cooled inboard motor with 629 hours (new risers/manifolds & waterpump 05/08) she cruises comfortably at 13 kts while turning 3200 rpm. In great shape a lot of engine work done. Accommodations: The single level cabin layout offers excellent headroom and sleeping accommodations for 6 adults. There is an enclosed head that features a sink, counter space, and storage. Galley: The galley is down and immediately to Port. There is a hot and cold sink, Princess 2 burner stove (can be run off Electric or Alcohol). The dual voltage refrigerator is located beneath the counter. There is a 110 volt outlet located in the galley space that would be suitable for plugging in your galley appliances from home (like a toaster oven, microwave or coffeepot). The 4 person dinette table is just forward of the Galley. This dinette easily converts into a sleeper. The shore power panel is located inside the cabin immediately to Stbd. Deck and Hull Equipment: A teak swim platform is bolted to the transom and has a fold out swim ladder. The nice deep cockpit has a teak railing and even a few rod holders. The helm and passenger seats are nice and high and allow for easy access to the engine space.
