She was built in 1959 by the STORD Shipyard in Norway as a RO-RO Ferry with a full car deck and stern and side loading capability. She was purchased in 2004 and spent almost two years being rebuilt in a professional shipyard. She is beamy with a lot of internal space and has an ICE C reinforced hull for added security.
Her engines are Twin Wichman/Wartsila 515 Kw/690 HP at 320 RPM's two stroke diesels with Twin variable pitch Wichman/Wartsila 2.3m propellers and Twin rudders.
She's a must see if you are in the maarket for a vessel of this size.
Concepual drawings for a HELICOPTER PAD have been done along with an estimate of about 50,000. EURO. This would accommodate a 6 passenger Bell type Helicopter.
