General Description

Completely refitted in 2006 this great performance cruising catamaran is also tax paid in Australia and offers are invited.

A true platform with high performance and customized cruising comfort is packaged in this Lock Crowther 48 foot catamaran .

This is one of the best presented Catamarans you will ever see of this vintage. You would never know her young age due to her excellent owners who keep this Catamaran in perfect condition. The ingredients that give this Lock Crowther cat her performance are her Divinycell core, dagger boards, 8.5 t displacement , fully battened main ,screechers , gennakers, twin helms and feathering props see all the ingredients made for very fast cruising. It has been commented by the owners that anything less than 12 knots was just boring and too slow. This cat also has a self taking jib and is easily sail by two people. Functionality does not have to be complicated .

For cruising this Cat is very well set up for the tropics with no less than 19 hatches for ventilation, cross ventilation and natural light . The large aft cockpit it is covered by hardtop with seating all round which creates an internal and external saloon. Simply put down the custom-made sun shades and you have an all-weather area when at anchor. Extra large refrigeration both internally and in the aft cockpit has been fitted and the mandatory cook top which is cleverly concealed next to the aft cock pit refrigeration in its own compartment. Superb walk off transoms make boarding and water activities a breeze. Davits add to the simplicity of the functions of the vessel. The finish on the interior is super crisp white that is functional and pleasing to the eye.
