General Description

This is a yacht with a great deal of history attached to her. Designed by Angus Primrose, who was most well known for his design of the Gypsy Moth IV which was commissioned and sailed by Sir Francis Chichester around the world in 1966, but he also produced successful designs for companies such as Moody and worked alongside names like Bill Dixon. Stressbreaker was built by a professional yard in Scotland in 1977 and her maiden voyage was to carry an expedition team to the Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia, crossing the Southern Oceans which she did successfully. She has been in SE Asian waters for the last 16yrs and before that was used as a dive charter vessel in the Red Sea.
She is very well built and has been maintained by her caring owners since new. The last few years she has been available for crewed charters in Burma in which she did so very successfully. Offering accommodation for up to a max 11 pax in total and a large mid deck saloon with air conditioning she lends herself quite well to charter. She comes extremely well equipped with dive gear, water maker, two generators, air conditioning, radar, etc and having always been used and operated constantly means that all systems are working well.

There are five cabins, three twins and two doubles. All cabins have fans and portholes and sleep 8 guests comfortably. The two showers with heads have hot and cold water. The saloon is spacious and air-conditioned, with TV, Video and Hi-Fi system. The cabins and saloon are beautifully finished in teak and mahogany. There is plenty of deck space up top and a great sociable cockpit surrounds the mizzen mast and helm with plenty of other spots fwd to relax with protection from the sun provided through sunbrella awnings. Recently undergone a mini refit in the yard in Phuket.
