Interior
Warm and tasteful oak trimmed decor is inviting and comfortable. CruiseAir SMX II digital air conditioning with reverse heat handles the climate control. The main cabin is accessed by the carpeted stairwell with snap-on Sunbrella carpet savers, leading you directly to the open salon area which is also carpeted and protected by another snap-on Sunbrella carpet saver. To port is the enclosed head with mirrored vanity, hot & cold sink and shower, a Vacuflush head system, a 28 gallon holding tank with a macerator as well as an on-deck pump-out fitting, a power vent and an opening S.S. porthole with screen. Forward of the head is the well laid out galley area featuring a G.E. turntable microwave, Kenyon Euro Kera 2 burner electric stove, a Norcold 12V/110V frig/freezer, a CO detector, a very large and deep sink with hot and cold pressure water, beautifully molded low maintenance counters with built-in trash bin, a 12V receptacle, a dual 110V GFI receptacle, a power vent, and has well above average storage space in many drawers, cabinets, and cubby holes (with roll-away doors). Opposite the galley is the large and convertible faux leather dinette with a removable table that sleeps 2 in comfort when not in use to seat 4+ people for a meal. There is storage below the dinette as well as in several opening lockers above and behind it, utilizing space to the max. There are a total of 6 S.S. opening portholes, all with screens, and three opening deck hatches, all with screens and ‘blackout' snap-on exterior canvas covers. Forward is the queen sized master berth, complete with new bedding upholstery, a privacy curtain, 2 generous hanging lockers, drawer storage, dressing seat, and an updated Toshiba color TV w/ built –in DVD player that pulls out and swivels so as to be seen from any area within the boat that you may choose to watch from. The aft guest cabin easily converts from a ‘conversation pit' arrangement into the biggest berth on the boat, sleeping two adults in a queen bed. This cabin also features a hanging locker and additional storage areas as well. A slide-opening window, with a screen, in the aft cabin lets air in when the AC is not in use. A Clarion Marine AM/FM/Cassette stereo with a 6-disc CD changer provides the ‘atmosphere'.
Exterior
When Sea Ray designed the ever popular Sundancer line, they had two things in mind… room for many guests, and convenience in entertaining them all! Seating for the captain and a passenger at the electrically adjusted helm station is roomy enough for three, while the additional passenger seat forward to port handles the fourth up front. The helm station features full instrumentation, a Lexan chart table, a Sea Star hydraulic helm with tilt feature, and a Clarion remote control for the stereo system below. There are 4 cockpit speakers (beside the ones below decks) for those who like quality tunes. In the cockpit you'll find a rear facing lounge seat for two more, and a removable full width rear bench lounge seats 4-5 more! Add to that the starboard fiberglass filler with the cushion and convert this entire cockpit into a circular seating arrangement, or use the space for a few Sun worshippers to soak up some rays… you decide! Cockpit carpets for comfort. To port is a wetbar with running water, a built-in ice storage bin, and a 12V refrigerator to eliminate all those needless trips downstairs for cold drinks. There is a foldaway boarding step to port that doubles as a handy storage area for extra dock lines, while to starboard you'll find a lighted locker that houses a saltwater washdown. The electrically operated windshield vent is handy when you have the Bimini top up as well as the aft slant and side curtains, allowing a breeze to get in even while raining without getting you soaked… a welcome touch. Cockpit carpets fore and aft are included for safety and comfort on bare feet, and an 110V GFI outlet is also provided for added convenience. There is a hot and cold transom shower, a transom ‘trunk' storage compartment, a walk-thru transom door, and also included is the optional extended swim platform that cleverly hides away a swim ladder below the deck level, saving many a stubbed toe in the process. The vessel has all S.S. bow rails, a bow pulpit, and an electric low profile anchor windlass that is operated from the helm as well as the optional on-deck remote button next to the winch itself. A handsome factory aluminum reversed radar arch is fitted with courtesy lights and an electric remote controlled spotlight, both for nighttime convenience and safety.
Electronics Specs
With updated modern top quiality electronics, this boat is better suited for easier navigation than others on the market. The updated package includes: Garmin 3210 (10" screen!) color radar and XM radio/weather and color GPS/plotter, a new Raytheon autopilot, B & G Quad speed/distance/ digital depth recorder, B & G digital GPS, Standard Horizon Quest VHF with built-in distress locator, and a 5" Ritchie compass.
Mechanical Specs
The Twin Mercruiser 7.4L Multi Port Electronic Fuel Injected engines provide superior cruising speed and fuel economy over carbureted powerplants in similar boats. The engines have been replaced fresh just last year, with all new manifolds and risers as well. The 4.5KW Westerbeke generator supplies all the 110V power you may need when you don't have the dual 110V 30A shorepower cords in use at dockside. Halon automatic fire suppression system for added safety, and an onboard battery charger for reliability of the 12V system. Bennet load levelling trim tabs keep everything on an even keel.
