General Description

The Chamberlain designed Nimbus 43 is a fabulous offshore cruising catamaran built in Foam Sandwich. The light 6.1 T displacement of this design will ensure excellent cruising performance. This vessel is GST paid in Australian and Thailand and at her current asking price she is well positioned on the market as excellent value and will not last long.
The interior configuration is comprised of 4 cabins and galley down to Starboard . There are 3 king size cabins and the 4th cabin is a designated shower and head with ample storage for spares. This configuration lends itself to greater privacy on board. The galley is well appointed with a full sized gas stove with 4 burner cook top. There is excellent storage for crockery and galley items. The refrigeration is separate from the galley to allow for greater capacity and is more than ample. The head room throughout the vessel ranges from 1.85 m in the saloon to 2 meters in the port and starboard hulls . The large saloon is made possible by the galley down configuration and is wonderful with excellent natural light. Two single reading chairs and a large saloon table with TV and entertainment system make this a great area of the vessel. The head linings are of a beautiful tasteful beige alcantara that add to the warmness of the interior when contrasted with the cedar paneling.

The machine space is accessed internally and is well sound proofed . This location allows for maintenance and checks to be completed out of the weather. The aft lazerettes house the auto pilot and water maker and is currently large unused storage on both port and starboard hulls.

The Navigation table is located conveniently near the companionway with the radar mounted on an articulating arm that is able to be viewed in the helm position or stored out of the elements when to in use. The great cock pit is fully enclosed by a soft awning with provision to remove the forward clears when the weather is good. The cutter rig is handled buy furlers and the main with lazy jack system can be raised by an electric winch all within the protection of the cockpit.

The sail wardrobe includes a MPS and the standing rigging is of 2001 vintage.
