General Description

Accommodations & Layout

The forward cabin contains port and starboard V-berths or one large berth queen size+ with
mahogany battens following the hull shape outboard of the bunks. There is access to the
foredeck ladder through a traditional scuttle. A hanging locker and bureau provides storage
space, air-conditioning controls and 12v fan provide comfort. A chain locker is located foreward
of this cabin. This state room is serviced by the foreward head, located just aft and to port. The
head featues a Corian countertop with stainless wash basin and towel rods. There is one
opening port for fresh air and natural light. Storage is in louvered lockers. The shower has a
Symmons saftymix control with a 6' hand shower hose. The head is a Vacuflush fresh water
system connected to the 22 gal. holding tank. The floor is teak grating.

Next aft and to port is the owner's stateroom with upper and lower berths. The lower Berth is
oversized and can be converted to a comfortable double using the upper bunk pad and flipping
down a "lip." Both these bunks are fitted with burgundy ultrasuede covers with blue ultrasuede
pillow covers. Fresh air is supplied to the cabin through a 12" deck dorade, a separate
reversible-opening hatch or 12v fan. Additional natural light is captured by a fixed hull port
through the cabin side and a dead light in the overhead. There is ample storage in a hanging
locker and bureau with four drawers. The owner's cabin is also serviced by the forward head
with access through a door forward and to port.

Opposite this cabin is an additional passageway cabin with upper and lower berths outboard.
These bunks are covered in the same materials as the port cabin. There is a port, an opening
hatch and a large dorade vent, all providing natural light and ventilation.

This cabin is serviced by the adjacent head which is aft along the starboard side. The head
features a Corian countertop with stainless wash basin and towel rods. There two opening
ports for fresh air and natural light. Storage is in louvered lockers. The shower has a Symmons
saftymix control with a 6' hand shower hose. The head is a Vacuflush fresh water system
connected to the 22 gal. holding tank. The floor is teak grating.

Next aft is the main salon with 6' 6" headroom. The salon features an L-shaped settee to port
in blue ultrasued with a double drop-leaf fixed table with bottle rack. Outboard of the settee is
storage in louvered lockers above.

Just aft of the main salon settee is the navigation station with a leather Pompanette (swiveling
and sliding) pedestal armchair.

To starboard is the well-equipped galley with stainless steel and Corian countertops. It has a
stainless steel double-basin sink with center drains. Separate faucets supply filtered water, hot
and cold mix and manual fresh water pump, with a built in soap dispenser. Complete set of
cutlery, Cuisinart cookware, porcelain and acrylic dishes and Arcoroc glasses stow neatly and
efficiently in carpeted custom-fitted louvered lockers. The stove is a Shipmate 3-burner surface
with baking and broiling elements in the oven, fully gimbaled or locked in place in a
stainless-lined compartment with fiddles and guardrail. Fuel is supplied by two 20 lb. aluminum
Worthington cylinders connected via a selector valve, pressuregauge and flexible line in a
vented locker to a Marinetics shutoff switch. A microwave oven is built-in the aft bulkhead.
Refrigeration is provided by separate stainless-lined refrigerated boxes and freezer (no drain
hole). New compressor seals, filter drier and larger voltage lines were installed in 1996.
Individual thermostats with hour meters to monitor running time control a Grunet 12V
water-cooled compressor. External thermometers allow monitoring of refrigerator/freezer
temperatures. The water pump is protected by a continuously vented strainer to prevent
airlock, regardless of sailing position. The custom stainless trash bin has a mahogany facing.
