Surama is a yacht conceived at the highest level of quality, aesthetics, integrity, cruising accessibility, function performance, safety and pedigree. With the experience of three previous world class sailing yachts to draw from, the owner of Surama will chose a proven design by Ted Hood, previously executed and engineered by the Royal Huisman Shipyard. This was the well known Anakena.
From this starting point, with Cyclos III and Juliet as prototypes, Surama was conceived. To meet the concept, Surama is a powerful performance yacht with redundant systems and an extremely shoal draft for a sailing yacht of her size. Performance is not compromised because of her two centerboards. Surama exudes pedigree, from her impressive list of components, to her design and Royal Huisman trademark.
To this very moment, Surama's systems are still state-of-the-art, including her sailing systems with in boom, fully battened mainsail and mizzen.
From her twin on deck cockpits and separate twin deck steering stations, every conceivable amenity has been addressed on deck. Inside Surama's massive pilothouse, with third command station, and in her living areas below, there is nothing but luxury, comfort and amenities.
