General Description

Accommodations and Layout
Sleeps 8 persons in 3 staterooms plus salon and pilothouse. She is a Classic 50' DEFEVER OFFSHORE CRUISER with a flushdeck motoryacht layout and a semi-displacement trawler hull. Each stateroom has it's own private head. The main level is arranged with pilothouse forward, the galley amidship, the salon and aft deck w/access to the swim platform. This level is carpeted in Karastan Wool sisal in tan with green accents over the original teak and holly sole (1999). All carpeting is bound and laid in place without tack strips for easy removal and access to the engine room hatches. The lower level is accessed via a stair from the pilothouse or a stair from the salon. This level is carpeted in Mohawk nylon carpet. The arrangement includes three staterooms, three heads, two showers and the engine room. Generous storage, drawer and hanging locker space is provided and all lockers have automatic lights. This is the first Defever built with a walk-through engine room allowing the entire lower level to be traversed without using stairs. Access to the bridge deck is either inside stairs or outside ladder. Master Stateroom is aft. The spacious bridge deck features a fully equipped helm station forwad with an L-shaped seating area and dining table. The area is protected by a windshield (new 1999) and a hard top cover. Generous storage space islocated under the seats and under the dash. The bridge may be accessed via the full head-room stair from the pilothouse and via ladder from the aft deck. The radar arch can be lowered hydraulically.
