General Description

The Mako 293 Walkaround is a big walkaround cuddy with just about every feature an angler could ask for on a boat this size. She's built on a deep-V hull, and there's enough foam packed into the hull to provide positive floatation. The deck layout boasts a full-height transom with a transom shower, built-in livewell, shower, transom door, and two-storage bins. There are two-big fish boxes in the cockpit sole, and tackle drawers are located behind the helm and companion seats. Rod storage is under the gunwales. Her sidedecks are wide, deep, and well-secured, and bench seating is built into the forward cabin trunk. Below deck, the Mako's roomy mid-cabin floor plan sleeps four (4), and includes a full galley, high-low dinette table, and an enclosed head. Some of her additional features include an elevated helm station, dive platform with a swim ladder, recessed trim tabs, molded bow pulpit, and anchor locker. She's a great performer with her twin Mercury, 225-hp Offshore motors (only 670-hours; adhering to a rigid maintenance schedule) that will cruise efficiently at 30-knots, and reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 40+ knots.
