An innovative yacht with a high-freeboard
appearance, the Silverton 453 Motor Yacht will
appeal to buyers concerned with condo-style
interior. The 453 uses Silverton's signature
"Sidewalk" design which elevates the sidedecks
to create a truly cavernous interior. Pushing the
superstructure out to the sides of the boat to
produce a huge salon gives Silverton the
flexibility to create a raised galley and dinette in
the middle of the boat, and still leaves room for
a spacious three-cabin, twin-head layout. The
midships VIP stateroom of the 453 is as large as
the owner's aft stateroom, and the entire interior
is tastefully finished with cherrywood joinery.
Topside, a wet bar is standard on the large aft
deck, and the flybridge is arranged with lounge
seating aft of the helm. Additional features
include descending staircase from the aft deck to
the swim platform, a foredeck sun lounge,
pilothouse deck door, a large engine room,
hardtop, and a bow pulpit. Twin 430-hp
Cummins diesels will cruise the Silverton 453 at
18 knots and top out in the low 20's.
