General Description

The Marine Trader 40 Sundeck is an excellent example of why people love trawlers. Rugged good looks, room, comfort, economy, and solid build make them trawlers. Passages Too has the two-stateroom, galley-down floor plan with double berths in both cabins, an open salon with serving counter overlooking the galley, and a lower helm to starboard. The entire interior features quality teak woodwork. The aft deck has hardtop and teak sole with easy access to wide side decks. Between the salon, bridge and aft deck there is room for more guests that most people would want to bring along.

The bimini covered bridge has centerline helm with captain's chair and seating to either side. Electronics include: Sitex Depth Sounder, Robertson Autopilot, Garmin GPS and two VHF radios. A few steps down is the aft deck with hardtop and teak sole. What a great place to relax and enjoy a day on the water. There is wicker seating for six and a bar with icemaker. From the aft deck you can move forward on either side via wide side decks, up to the bridge, or down to the salon.

If you love teak you will love the salon. Everywhere your eyes wander there is the warm glow of teak. The salon is large, open, with lots of light but the wood makes it cozy. As you come down from the aft deck twin wicker armchairs are in front of you and a large settee/dinette to your right. Forward there is a serving counter overlooking the galley three steps down and to starboard is the lower helm with sliding access door to the side deck. The guest stateroom is forward with offset double berth, under berth storage, and private enclosed head. The master stateroom is aft and is something you have to see to believe. The centerline queen berth is surrounded by amenities. A built-in mirrored vanity is portside along with built-in dresser and hanging locker. Starboard is even more storage all in teak. The private head includes vanity and bath tub with shower. For those who like to cruise and relax this boat has it all.

Powered by dependable Lehman Diesels with only 3430 hours Passages Too is ready to give its new owner years of enjoyment. Your conveniences are supplied by a Westerbeke 8-kw diesel generator, two Lunaire AC units, Panasonic color television/VHS/DVD, and a water heater. An Avon Rover RIB inflatable with Mercury 3.3hp outboard is included. Whether you are looking for a luxurious trawler or a vacation getaway Passages Too should receive serious consideration.
