General Description

Floating Hotel for sale.

The floating hotel is available for immediate sale and could be moved from its current location in
Thailand within a relatively short period of approximately 6-8 weeks.

In regard to passenger capacity, the vessel offered a total of 133 keys or
121 rooms plus 6 suites (12 keys). The ship has no engine and is not under
classification, waste water treatment is fully operational and guaranteed as
per international standard

Before its current very successful operation the Floating Hotel undertook an important refit in excess of US$ 2 Million. . The vessel is as such completely see worthy and fully operational within a 4 star category.
The Floating Hotel is a converted accommodation ship originally built in Finland in 1968 and re-built with a full interior refitting, at Kotka Shipyard Inc., Finland in 1992.

General Information

The Ship is presently under Thai flag, and is set up to operate as a floating hotel. It can also serve as a casino or be easily converted into a floating hospital.

1.2 Purpose

The Floating Hotel has been converted according to the specifications (herein stated), to be a modern hotel, suitable for operation as a hotel located permanently on water, with proper electricity supply, including air-conditioning. The Floating Hotel has no propulsion machinery.

The Floating Hotel is equipped with quality European fittings and fixtures. All mechanical and safety equipment is of European sea faring standards. The ship has full air conditioning and heating system. The Ship is fully equipped with necessary operating equipment for a hotel operation.

The Floating Hotel can accommodate 190 guests in 121 guest rooms and 6 suites. It is a 4-star floating hotel with 5 decks, fitness club, whirlpool, separate saunas, sundeck and swimming pool. All guest rooms have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, colour television, mini-bar, sprinkler system. No smoke detectors are fitted in guest rooms.

1.3 Machinery Arrangement

At present electricity and fresh water is from shore side connections while electricity is provided by 3 generators located in movable containers on shore.

The Floating Hotel is equipped with inmarsat terminal 2 independent Telephone (Voice, Fax) Channels PABX + telephone (two systems).

The Floating Hotel is equipped with the following communication systems.

- Automatic telephones - Telex line for shore connection
- 160 digital extension lines - Talk-back telephones
- 11 simultaneous calls - Public address (PA) and entertainment systems
- 2 lines for satellite connection - Central antenna system
- 10 lines for shore connection
The Floating Hotel is equipped with batteries for emergency lighting and the heating systems consist of one electrical boilers. Fire, ballast and bilge systems are according to European rules. Alarm and control system and fire indication and controls are placed at the reception desk.

1.4 Classification

The original hull was built in 1968, and the ship was under USSR register class with notation UL *P 4/1c (non self propelled ship, not over 100 miles from shore. Actually the ship is not under classification.

1.5 Year of Construction

Built in 1968 and fully rebuilt at Kotka Shipyard in Finland in 1992.

1.6 Regular Body Approvals

The Floating Hotel is designed and built in accordance with the following: · Certificate of Survey, Thailand Harbor Authority

1.7 Operational Limitation

The Floating Hotel is designed for operation in sheltered water and/or moored along a pier. For offshore use the vessel can be floated onto and fixed to an oceanic offshore deck barge up to 100 miles.

1.8 Ambient Conditions

If not otherwise sated, the floating hotel's machinery systems are dimensioned for the following ambient conditions:

· Sea water -Sea Water temp 28-32 C
· Air outside -28 C to 36 C
Air conditioning (cooling and heating) to be dimensioned for the following conditions:

· In summer +Summer conditions average 32-34 C with average humidity 70-85 C
The Floating Hotel fulfills in the specification given requirements for a complete accommodation system, including living, restaurant, office, public, service, engine, store and kitchen spaces.

Deadweight

The deadweight mentioned is the difference between the loaded displacement and the displacement of the empty ship. The corresponding lightweight includes:

- The empty ship completed and equipped according to this specification, but without articles of consumption.
- Inventories, spare parts and reserve equipment that belong to the Yard's delivery and are intended to be carried aboard.
- Equipment and system liquids required for the normal operation of machinery.
