141 EX-FRENCH GROVENMENT RESEARCH VESSEL “MARARA”

Marara was built at the well known Atelier & Chantiers de la Marche in 1973 and was used until 1998 as a research vessel by the French Government throughout the south pacific. Orginally built to class under Bureau Veritas rules, she was maintained in class until 1998. Marara is an ideal candidate to be converted into a practical modern explorer vessel for private use or exploration charter.

Conversion estimates are estimated at $1.5 to $2 million US if completed in New Zealand. Completed value is estimated at $5 million US. Current specifications of the vessel prior to conversion “as is”.

* Twin Baudouin Engine
* Variable pitch propeller
* Practical stern for water access
* Integral anti-roll “flume tanks”
* Long aft deck

Little changes needed to superstructure, ideal for conversion.
