Based on the original 25 Sailfish introduced by Grady-White back in 1980 an integral bracket/swim platform, a generous bow pulpit and a reworked hull differentiate the 272 Sailfish from the 255 model. The 272 Sailfish has been one of the best selling Walk Arounds in the market place thanks due to its quality construction, superb offshore performance, and excellent fishability. Fishing features include a well arranged cockpit, deep Walkaround decks, two large insulated fishboxes, livewell, rod racks and a starboard transom door. The bridgedeck is elevated for excellent helm visibility and a cushioned bench seat is fitted at the transom. The cabin of the 272 is quite spacious for a Walkaround with V-berths forward, a small galley, enclosed head with shower, and a small midberth that can be used for storage. Additional features include trim tabs, anchor locker, cockpit bolsters, windshield vents, saltwater Washdown, and a particularly well arranged helm console. A good running boat, twin 225 HP Yamahas will cruise her 27 knots and 40 knots top end. A standard by which others in her size and type are judged, the Sailfish is an original, and a top quality fisher.
