General Description

Built on the legendary Bertram 31 deep-V hull with a steep 23-degrees of deadrise at the transom, the 31 Bahia Mar is a popular and long-running boat in the Bertram fleet. Pre-owned Bahia Mar's continue to attract a wide following among serious anglers who appreciate her numerous fishing attributes. She's built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull, and is a very stable fishing platform. Her completely open cockpit arrangement puts the helm close to the action, and the cockpit itself is larger than in most other sportfish boats of her size (147-square feet). Great visibility from the helm is another feature fishermen have come to admire - sight-lines are excellent in all directions. Belowdecks, the Bahia Mar's cabin includes a small galley with sink and refrigerator, a stand-up head with a shower, and a V-berth forward with storage underneath. Her current owner brought this boat to Florida 6-years ago. Prior to that time, she was berthed on Cape Cod, used lightly during the summer months, and stored indoors each winter. New Mercruiser, fuel-injected, 370-hp Horizon MPI inboard engines were installed in 2000. There are 600-hours on the engines, and just recently, the manifolds and risers were replaced. Her owner reports that the engines burn an economical 7-GPH each, at 20-knots. The owner has raised the deck by 18-inches in the helm area, which eliminates the engine boxes, and provides for a bridgedeck that is almost flush. Her bridge has new eisenglass curtains on the front and sides. This boat also has an aluminum tower with full-controls. We have a motivated owner here, so please give us a call for more details, or an appointment to view this classic fishing machine.

Accommodations
The cabin needs work to finish it off; presently there is a porta-potti in the enclosed head, but there is a thru-hull, that can be used for a toilet raw water intake. Additionally, the V-berth needs cushions, and the space belowdecks is in need of some TLC.
