The True World Marine series of boats are incredibly well built canyon capable vessels. Yanmar diesels are very reliable, fuel efficient and quiet. In 1980 a new boat company was born under the banner of Master Marine in response to a challenge. New England fishermen needed a specialized craft to pursue giant bluefin tuna. The design criteria were curious: able to subdue 1,000 pound fish, manageable by a two-men crew, narrow-beam for trailering, seaworthy, stable, and tough as nails! Sharp entry and deep-V design cut rough seas. Wide Carolina Style flare bow provides for a soft dry ride. The walkaround decks are among the widest in the industry! The newest member of True World Marine's Fish around family, the TF242 is a joy to handle as well as a joy to fish! Its wide, deep-vee hull combined with a 250-horsepower Yanmar turbo-diesel allows it to handle rough water like a big boat, but burns fuel like a runabout. The MerCruiser BravoÂ® 3Xâ�¢ diesel sterndrive with twin, counter-rotating propellers provides agile handling, efficient cruising and superb top-end performance. The cabin includes a galley, head and dinette-V-berth forward. All True World Marine models are constructed with hand laid, solid fiberglass hull bottoms and Baltec cored decks, hatch covers and cabin structures. Bilge and bulkhead surfaces are sealed with barrier coats. The stringer system is fully encapsulated and bonded to the hull. Bonded and mechanically fastened inner liners meet or exceed U.S. Coast Guard standards and requirements.
