Vessel walkthrough:
Sleeps five in the cabin and salon. The main salon has teak and holly sole. The interior is light with teak trim accents, bookshelves, cabinets and ample storage. There are opening ports with screens and a screen for the main hatch. An enclosed head with a wet locker is to port, opposite the efficient L-shaped galley. Galley highlights include a deep stainless steel sink, Kenyon (2) burner propane stove, Adler Barber refigerator/freezer, formica countertops, fidle rails along counter edges, and microwave oven. There is also a am/fm stereo cass.

Sails and rigger:
Profurl P31 roller furling sails, Main and #1 Genoa.

Other features and equipment:
The single 20 hp Yanmar diesel engine was rebuilt in 1998. 1,000 total engine hours, with 100 hours since major overhaul.

The cockpit is roomy with wheel steering and table. There is also a life sling, swim platform and windscoop. Complete canvas includes dodger, bimini with sides and back curtains and sunbrella boat shade cover.

Remarks:
The orignal Bombay Clippers were built in the 1970's by the New Bombay Trading Company. The Chaparrel Company built 13 in the 1980's. "Journy" the last at number 13, was built for the owner of Chaparral. "Journey's" hull was laid up in 1983, launched in 1988 and registered for the first time in 1992. The vessel is currently documented.
