General Description

The Uniflite 42 Double Cabin was one of the earliest production motor yachts to be designed with a raised, full-width aft deck. These continue to be popular due to their sturdy construction and wide open interior layout. The standard down-galley floorplan featured two berths in the aft cabin, a deck access door at the lower helm, dinnette and teak woodwork throughout. The quality components and hardware make Uniflite 42 Double Cabins good candidates for refits and interior upgrades. Last hauled: 2001

Accommodations
Forward is a king-size v-berth and lots of storage, built in dressers and closet. Just starboard is the guest head. There are two doors to this head. One door to the v-berth and one door to the hallway area. To port is the dinette. The dinette converts into sleeping for two. Across from the dinette, starboard is the spacious galley. This is a horse-shoe shaped galley. It is so large that it reminds you of the one you have at home!! Up the stairs going aft there is a lower helm to port and also a fabulous sleeper-sofa that sleeps two. Across from the sofa to starboard are two social chairs. Down the stairs is the master aft cabin. The accommodations include, a double bed and a twin. To port is a master head. There is even a full size shower with glass shower door. What most impressed me about this yacht is the storage and closet space. This is always the main complaint in most boats. Something else that is different is the Navigation table is latched in the ceiling of the salon. It is by far the largest nav table that I have ever seen. Also the ceiling will come out altogether on the port side when/if it is ever necessary to remove the engines. Just one more great idea on Uniflites part!!

Galley
This has a down U-shaped galley equipped with a full Frigid-air Fridge with top freezer, a Princess 3 burner electric range with oven, pressurized water with 6 gal. hot water heater, Montgomery Wards microwave, double stainless sinks, ample storage and a convert dinette that seats 4-6.

Engine Room
This engine room is very well keep it has twin 671 Detroit diesels
For her main engines runs like new 1000 hr's on port and 800 hours on strb.
This Boat is equipped with a 6.5 Onan diesel generator. The engine room is easy to get to and is insulated for low noise

Electrical
6.5 Onan diesel engine for power. 12volt and 110/220 volt hook ups. Switch board for all the electrical is easy to access.

Deck & Rigging
It has a full sundeck with full railing. A walk around passage to access the whole boat with tech railing to keep you safe. This boat has an upper helm and controls for easy docking and full visibility around the craft.
