General Description

A fast and modern looking cruiser/racer. Nice cherrywood interior with good living space. White hull and coachroof, off-white deck, dark blue striping, black bottom.

Construction:
The yacht has been built in accordance with the European CE-Certification and meets the requirements of the CE-directive for recreational crafts class A.

Hull:
The hull is built using the hand lay up method using modern materials. The laminated construction consists of polyester resin, roving fabrics, balsa wood core- and multidirectional fabrics. The floor beams, laminated into the hull, distribute the keel and rig forces evenly along the laminate construction. Internally the laminate is sealed using topcoat. Externally aluminium/rubber top-sides protector.

Deck and cabin:
Sandwich construction with end grain balsa wood core to provide strength and insulation. Aluminium reinforcements laminated-in for all fittings. The hull and deck are laminated while still in the mould to create a homogeneous structure. Self draining anchor locker. TBS non-slip on deck.

Keel:
A combination of cast-iron and lead. Keel profile with extremely low centre of gravity, fastened to the hull by stainless steel bolts into the laminated-in floor beams.

Rudder:
The balance rudder has a shaft of solid stainless steel with stabilising framework welded on. Self-aligning JP3 rudder bearings. (Pictures of sistership)
