A key feature of the 33 Scarab AVS is the solid construction of its two-step bottom. The hull and deck are through-bolted and bonded together with fiberglass. There are microballoon-filled strakes; a diamond plate engine compartment; an engine room ventilation system; and hand-laid fiberglass throughout.
