General Description

Here is a beautiful William Garden designed schooner whose performance belies her looks. Built in triple skinned kauri in 1981 she is a work of art. She has had two owners apart from her builder and they have all spared nothing when it came to maintenance and upkeep. Her length on deck is 30 feet but with the bowsprit and long main boom she is 42 feet LOA.

Jersey Lily s interior has storage fwd and sleeping accomodation for three. The glow of the timber and the craftsmanship that went into her construction is plain to see. Small touches such as carved nameboards and oil lamps are everywhere. She has a compact galley for weekend cruising though the headroom is limited of course.

On deck is where you will want to spend your time. Schooner rigged with simple spreaderless masts and a gaff rigged foresail she is an easy boat to sail shorthanded. the aft davits carry a classic timber tender and her cockpit is surprisingly roomy for a yacht of this size.
