General Description

This Tayana 48 Deck Saloon is one of over 1100 units produced by Ta �Yang yachts in Taiwan.
This yacht is a new build and is fully commissioned and ready to sail. The difference between ordering a new vessel from Ta Yang and this boat is that she is available now and ready to go anywhere. This is a fully optioned yacht and the easiest way to describe the options is to point out what she does not have. The designer Robert Perry is known for his performance cruising boats and his belief that you can reach a medium between comfort and sailing capabilities. The Tayana 48 will accommodate comfortably a sailing family or two couples. She has a powerful rig, an easily driven hull, and excellent sailing characteristics.

The Deck Saloon gives this vessel attractive lines while the internal volume and head room is enough for any major league basket ball player. The enclosed sunbrella centre cock pit is also sufficient for the tallest of people.

Although she is a mid size cruiser the helmsman can control this vessel from the cock pit. Full navigation instrumentation, bow thruster, electric halyard winch to control the Leisure furl in boom furling, large self tailing winches and the key board with jammer system in the cock pit allow for single handed sailing.
