General Description

The 53ft Ketch Rigged Super Maramu is a super cruising vessel indeed.
This vessel is built by Amel in France. Amel is renowned to be a safe and extremely well built vessel with an unsurpassed reputation and ability to retain resale value.The current original owner has a very high specification and inventory on board and there is nothing to add.

The Super Maramu is equipped for long range extended cruising and is a very comfortable live aboard for short handed cruisers.The central cock pit is designed for safety and comfort with the ability to set sail from the cock pit .In mast furling powered by electric motors make setting sail a dream. An electric furling head sail also adds to the easy of sailing in an instant. There is no need to trim the sails manually either as the winches are also electric.

The mahogany and teak interior is spacious with 6ft 5 of headroom with a saloon that runs the full beam of the vessel. The galley is well appointed and is located in a central stable area of the vessel. The galley is open and merges with the saloon. Refrigeration is massive with a total of 240litres of deep freeze and a 80litre fridge freezer.

Accommodation is in 2 cabins 1 forward and 1aft cabin with separate ensuits. Total comfortable berthing totals 6.

The large engine room is accessed from the cockpit and houses many of the vessels mechanics. The systems are easily maintained and checked due to the large size of this area.

Maneuvering this vessel is simple with the retractable bow thruster.
