General Description

This is a very distinctive boat; the Century 3000 Sport Cabin combines a fishable deck layout with the cabin amenities of a small family cruiser. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with moderate beam and wide chine's, the Sport Cabin's unusual deck layout is arranged with the helm well aft on the bridge deck in order to provide built-in lounge seating for passengers between the console and the cabin. While this takes up a little bit of cockpit space, the seating arrangement makes the Sport Cabin a true dual-purpose boat with genuine â��day boat" capabilities. Two large in-deck fish boxes and a transom live well are standard equipment, and fiberglass boxes under the pedestal seats house a fish box, and (to port) tackle drawers. A fishing area forward of the house is accessed by wide walk around side decks with amazingly high freeboard. Below, the cabin contains a dinette/V-berth forward, a small galley, an enclosed head, and an aft double bunk under the bridge deck. Additional features include a wet bar, transom door, cockpit bolsters, a raw water wash down, and lockable rod storage. Her twin, 250-HP Yamaha outboards (under 200-hours) will cruise this vessel at a quick 30-knots and reach a top speed of 40+ knots.
