Deck/Hull
The displacement hull is constructed of hand laid fiber reinforced plastic (FRP and directional fiberglass fabric laminate with end grain balsa core material). Additional strength and stiffness is accomplished by installation of stringer system molded at time of hull giving the boat a very solid feel designed to last for years. The keel and bilge area is small FRP stub (to provide access to keel) and solid pour 2100 lb lead. The keel is supported by an in floor grid system and consisting of stainless steel through bolts inserted at time of casting.

The deck is constructed using the same technique as the hull and then joined to the hull via an inward turning flange. This joint is then sealed with 3M 5200 and bolted with stainless steel bolts approximately 8 inches on center.

Steering is accomplished through the factory installed tiller system. The helm is very balanced and light. The cockpit is of self bailing design. Teak toe rails and hand rails are installed throughout. Double life lines installed for additional safety.

Standing Rigging
Extruded aluminum mast with tapered top is secured with 1x19 stainless steel wire attached with swaged fittings. Boom is also constructed of extruded aluminum. All anchor/hard points are constructed of stainless steel. All fittings to the mast or boom are constructed of either stainless steel or aluminum where appropriate.

580 Sq ft. fractionally rigged sloop makes this boat a very good performer without sacrificing amenities. The spinnaker halyard has been repositioned for even better downwind performance.
