General Description

The 393 Beneteau possesses the more desired feature of storage cabinets in the main salon on the starboard side. This arrangement provides more storage than most vessels her size. On the port side there is a dinette table that converts to a double berth. The nav station and galley are aft on the starboard side. There is a large aft cabin and head to port. Construction
All of the gelcoat and resin products used by Beneteau USA today are low-styrene and MACT compliant. The Hull is hand-laid solid fiberglass and incorporates a structural hull liner with fiberglass stringers and cross members. The hull is laid up with a vinyl ester barrier coat to resist osmotic blistering followed by a zone-specific stitchmat laminate schedule to meet the specific strength requirements of each different section of the hull. The hull liner is laminated using high-strength non-woven stitchmant fiberlass and unidirectional rovings to achieve maximum structural distribution of all loads and forces yet controlling weight. The deck is a cored sandwich construction for stiffness, thermal and acoustic insulation and lighter weight. Solid fiberglass reinforcements are located in high load and hardware mounting locations. Bulkheads are bonded 360 degrees to the hull and deck for structural strength. The hallmark of Beneteaus advanced woodwork is the joinerwork. This includes hardwood fiddles, door frames and trim pieces with custom marine grade, zero void, multi-laminate woood faces and bulkheads. The wood is Douka, in the mahogany family, known for its beautiful grain. All interior wood surfaces is varnished with a cherry stain tint.
