General Description

Ariel , built in 1952, in Costa Mesa California, Honduras Mahogany on Oak frames. She sports solid teak decks bronze fastened throughout with mostly new fastenings in 2004. Her superbly built and amzingly storng hull was refastened and epoxy splined in 2003.

A new timber mast was installed in 2005. The engine has had a recent full rebuild & is running like a German Band. This fine timber classic has been slowly re built over the last 5 years,& hasn t got too far to go to be fully refurbished & ready to sail again. She has a very spacious interior, good head room throughout & a solid timber feel. With her huge deck spaces for relaxing & extremely classic lines - absolutely impossible to replace for the price & will be appreciated by a wooden boat connoisseur - The current owner has run out of steam & wishes to hang up his deck shoes
