Deck/Hull
The hull is constructed with internal stringer system. All access ports and wire chase are filled with closed cell foam and bonded with fiberglass. The stringer system then becomes a solid component of the hull making it much stronger than conventional systems.

Silverton completely redesigned the deck of this motor yacht and in the process created three features that are practically exclusive to the Silverton line. The first was to increase the safety when going forward on such a large yacht. This was accomplished by molding in “SideWalk" access decks that are set well in the either side of the hull. Secondly this created more room in the main salon making below decks feel like you are on a 50 ft. yacht. The third benefit of this design allowed for more storage up front for additional bow lines, fenders and other dock lines that don't have to be lugged from one end to the other. Access from bow to stern is now far easier than before.

Also featured on the foredeck is a forward facing lounge seat. Great for hanging out and alternative observation area. The aft deck can be completely enclosed for those unexpected weather days and features wicker furniture pieces for relaxing. The top has been constructed so that even it can be used as an alternative place to hang out or stretch out for sunbathing.

Accommodations
All lot of attention to detail was put into the design and craftsmanship below decks. Silverton used copious amounts of real cherry wood in such a way that gives a very elegant touch of class in such modern design elements.

The ability to create some very dramatic features without sacrificing space makes this Silverton a true rest haven. Three cabins is enough for six to sleep very comfortably, but the salon features a fold out sofa for a couple of extra overnight guests. The center or guest cabin is almost as large as the aft owner stateroom. The only major difference is the head and shower for the guest cabin can be accessed from either the cabin or the main hallway.

The salon has ample seating for entertaining and features a complete JVC sound system, 27" television set, satellite dish, DVD player and 6CD Changer. The galley is then raised forward of the salon making the entire salon and galley seem like a 50' yacht.

Galley
Cooking in the galley of the Silverton is actually a pleasure with its ample storage and easy access. Built in Sub-Zero refrigerator, freezer, microwave, trash compactor (see below), and range are all set in the same solid cherry cabinetry. Placing the galley in this configuration allows ample light to flood the prep areas and well as into the main salon.

Powerplant
The 453 Silverton Motoryacht is powered by twin Cummins diesel engines, fresh water cooled only, that each produce 430 HP. With only 100 hours! Also on board is a 13KW Kohler generator that is plenty to keep everything running. The engine room, the generator and all AC equipment has been carefully located and then sound proofed to minimize the noise levels for the passengers. This is one very quiet yacht below decks and quite possibly the quietest you will ever have a chance to pilot. One can hear the water break at the hull from the flybridge.
