General Description

If you are looking for a larger yacht to cruise the world, don t go past this one. Immaculately presented and pefectly maintained since new, there is not a better Tayana 55 on the market. This boat has been designed and built for serious cruising. Virtually indestructible and with clean flush decks for ease of movement and dinghy storage.

With a large lazarette and heaps of storage space there is room for all your cruising equipment. She has an inventory that will be the envy of most yacht owners including two gensets, full airconditioning and a washing machine.

The large master cabin with it s ensuite is aft and also gives you access to the workshop and engine room where you will find the generators, washing machine and a proper workbench. All pumps are easily accessible as are all motors for ease of maintenance. The huge galley is to starboard and has a Grunnert freezer and fridge, microwave oven and brand new Force 10 oven. Navigation area is very well equipped with large Simrad chartplotter and all the electronics you could ask for. A very roomy saloon has a ligfht and airy feel which is very important in the tropics. Moving forward there are three cabins, one of which is used permanently for sail storage etc.

Her center cockpit design allows a large aft deck area which is perfect when a few guests are aboard. The cockpit is covered with a bimini and dodger and the yacht also has a complete boat cover for the times when you are not around. Decks are in excellent condition and her standing rigging is all new as of 2003.
