The Four Winns 288 Vista's blend of solid
construction, comfortable accommodations and
competitive price makes her a strong contender in
under 30' segment of today's express-boat market.
Built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides, the
interior of the 288 Vista is a little larger than other
boats in her class thanks to a wide 9'8" beam. The
layout--which differs little from other mid-cabin
cruisers--sleeps 6 with double berths fore and aft and
a convertible Ultraleather settee in the main cabin.
The head is large and the galley has the refrigerator
located above the microwave so you don't have to
bend down to reach it. For after-hours privacy,
curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main
cabin. Topside, the cockpit is configured with a U-
shaped lounge aft, refreshment center with slide-out
cooler, removable table and an electric engine hatch.
Note that the double helm seat has a flip-up bolster
for the driver. An extended swim platform, aluminum
radar arch, tilt steering wheel and transom shower are
standard. With twin 270-hp Volvo sterndrives, the
288 Vista will cruise in the high 20s and top out at
close to 40 knots.
