General Description

The 44" DeFever Offshore Cruiser is a heavily built, serious offshore passagemaker with a 900 n.m. range. Dependable 135hp Ford-Lehman diesels, Holding plate freezer on fly bridge, Fly bridge garbage compactor, generator, Triple air conditioning system, full electronics compliment, dinghy and davit all combine to offer everything you need for extended times aboard. Rich teak paneling and cabinetry in a most comfortable double cabin (queen aft) layout and a full-beam engine room all contribute to a most relaxing lifestyle and ease of maintenance duties. A very big 44 footer! The DeFever 44 is the most popular Defever production design ever. This is flush deck design with single-level walkaround decks. She is a heavy boat for her design with a hard chined semi-displacement hull. This provides for a comfortable ride regardless of weather. This is a serious blue water cruiser. “Manatee" has every feature one would want and need for any type of bluewater voyage. The cleanest I have seen for this model. She is clean and water ready. ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED – OWNER IS A TWO YACHT OWNER AND WANTS TO SELL HER.

BROKERS REMARKS: This is, without question, the finest DeFever 44 Trawler available on the market today. Massively built. This is one of the most popular long range trawlers available. A "must see" for the long-range cruiser or live-aboard couple. Meticulous owners are DOWNSIZING from TWO YACHTS. PERFECT! “Manatee" has zero issues and all surveys are welcomed. Seller has indicated aggressive sell and will consider all offers. Lifestyle change forces sell as well as multiple boat ownership, the owner and family have enjoyed countless trip to the islands and lived aboard for six months or more at a time on the hook and have had a ball with “Manatee". She has served them well and now a change in venue forces the sell. You will not be disappointed to see this yacht. Seriously for sale and very clean and maintained!
