With her modern styling and
innovative interior, the Sea Ray 310 Sundancer
will doubtless appeal to upscale family cruisers
willing to pay top dollar for a quality mid-size
express. Like all of Sea Ray's express boats, the
310 is built on an easy-riding deep-V hull with
moderate beam, cored hull-sides, and a solid
fiberglass bottom with prop pockets. On deck,
the spacious cockpit is arranged with a huge U-
shaped lounge aft (convertible into a sun pad), a
wet bar, and a double-wide companion seat next
to the drop-down helm seat on the bridgedeck.
Additional features include an easily accessed
engine compartment, transom door and a broad
swim platform. Twin Mercruiser 350 MPI 5.7-litre
V-drive inboards will cruise the 310 Sundancer at
24 knots and top out at around 32 knots. Both
the starboard engine and the port short block
were replaced in 2002 under warranty with 185
hours. Also, both sets of exhausts and risers
were upgraded to the new design via warranty.
