REMARKS

Taos is Hull No. 7 of these famous Chebecs , and was built for her designer Claude Graf to continue cruising with his young family. Claude sold her to her current owner , a friend of some thirty years , who has now completed a circumnavigation in her , bringing Taos back to Port Grimaud. She was substantially updated to fit her for the RAFC Trade Winds Around the World Rally in which she participated very successfully and since coming up through Suez to the eastern med has cruised the Aegean and Turkey.
Taos has undergone a major refurbishment during the last few years in preparation and anticipation of further long distance passage-making.
“The Chebec 50 is a superb bluewater cruising yacht and TAOS offers head turning good looks with excellent accommodation , superb sailing characteristics and one of the best cockpits that we have ever seen. She was also voted ‘best boat' , in the Rally!"

Taos is now in sparkling condition !

Sadly her current owner is not contemplating any further long distance passage-making!
