General Description

"Windy Day's II" has dock appeal as well as great lines, and a series of attractive sailing yachts. The fin keeled 32' was designed in an era when hulls were wholesome, as evidenced by being in production for 13 years which is a long run for one hull design. Conceived as a racer/cruiser when a "dual purpose boat" wasn't an oxymoron, it has since proven a long distance cruiser with several examples of crossing the four corners. â��Windy Day's II" is from traditional design from when they knew how to build a yacht with construction pratices with solid hand laid glass: the deck is cored with baltek balsa. Triaxle force grid is a web like stringer systemmolded seperatly and then bonded to the interior of the hull for rigidity, both the keel and the rigging connect to the triaxle force grid (tafg) and not the hull or deck. Clean layout with broad side decks and handy grab rails, her stern makes for easy boarding.

Accommodations
Very well maintained and updated family cruiser/racer. Large V-berth sleeps two comfortably. Dinette sleeps two and Port Quarter-berth sleeps one. Starboard settee sleeps one child or smaller adult.
VENTILATION: via main companionway hatch and 2 large teak framed skylight fully opening hatches. One in the salon and one in the forward V berth. STORAGE AND LOCKERS: Sail locker lazarette in the cockpit. Top loading storage under all berths. Hanging locker behind head. Drawer storage in the galley and head area. Sliding panel storage in the head over sink and in the galley. Cabinet by the aft quarter berth. HEAD: Private head forward with sink and storage.
