General Description

What can you say about a Commander? These boats where made when Yacht builders knew how to use fiberglass and built the hull so solid that they were almost indestructible. This boat is a rare find. The owner has refitted her so that she is better then new. Complete refit in 2004 with twin 330's turbo Cummins Diesel engines, BRAND NEW, right out of the crate! She also has new transmissions, a new 12KW generator, plus, the wiring and hydraulic hoses were also replaced with refit. Novacain will keep you cold with a 1500 BTU AC unit. With this system you can sleep 5 very comfortably. Her new head is complete with new plumbing and a new holding tank. She was put back into the water May 2004, complete with a new bottom job with Anti-Fouling paint, new 4 blade wheels with 1"3/8 shafts. This boat has a 5-year warranty on her engines. This is just like buying a like new boat. Not only do you have a new power plant, but you will also have a full tower with a new enclosure. Her helm has all new gauges. She also has a full tower complete full controls! Novacain has a spacious 13 foot cockpit; large enough that you will be able to use it as a sport fisher or a party area for all your friends. She is a very nice looking boat and as far as equipment goes, she is like new. You will be stepping onto a boat that is built like a tank and has been restored to better then she was out of the factory in 1968. You will even have a 5-year factory engine warranty. Custom sheets /covers and pillows, as well as, everything else this boat has new. This vessel is a rare find! This classy boat has a long life ahead of her! Once you see Novacain, you will be amazed on all the hard work that has went into putting this boat in tip-top shape!
Accommodations
Once you step onboard the Novocain you will see how large her 13' beam is! She has a very large cockpit; this is a very open area that will give you the room for entertaining guests or for fishing. As you go forward, you step down into the dining area where you will have a dinette table on your left that seats 4 and sleeps 2, with storage under seating and a nice shelf for your TV. On your right, you will have a long settee that seats 3 and sleeps 1, going forward you will see a full galley on your right with a tow burner stove a micro wave over and a refrigerator. Just to your left you will see a full Head with all commendations. Go forward into the forward V-berth, you will see she sleeps 2 very comfortably and has plenty of storage under the bed. As you go back out onto the Cockpit, you will go up the helm in the tower. The tower has full controls. You sit high up, so seeing the complete boat, bow to stern, is easy. You have docking lights to help you bring her along side at night. The helm is complete with new gauges and is fully enclosed. She is fitted with electronics: a bottom machine and radar to help you get wherever you want to go. This is a one-of-a-kind boat and she is ready for a new owner to enjoy her!
