is an affordable mid-cabin family boat with a spacious
interior and a comfortable cockpit layout. Like most
big trailerable cruisers, the 2400 has a lot of
freeboard (necessary to provide adequate cabin
headroom) and she does provide a lot of interior
volume for a 24-footer. The mid-cabin floorplan is
arranged with a convertible V-berth/dinette forward, a
compact galley to port and a porta pottie. Additional
features include a swim platform, a hot and cold
freshwater shower, walk-thru windshield, swim
ladder, windshield wiper and two opening ports. A
single Mercruiser stern drive will cruise the Maxum
2400 SC at 25 knots and reach a top speed in the
neighborhood of 38 knots.
