General Description

“Kemosabe", our Jefferson 42 Sundeck was built on the same hull as the Jefferson 42 Convertible. She's a straightforward, double cabin design with very attractive lines. This Jefferson is the alternate dinette layout, which appeals to experienced cruisers who want the convenience of a built-in eating area in a boat of this size. Additionally, she features a large master stateroom aft with a walk-around queen berth, and a v-berth (with filler) in the forward stateroom. A tub/shower arrangement is included in the head adjoining the owner's aft stateroom, while a separate stall shower is found in the forward head. Large wraparound windows add plenty of natural lighting, and upscale quality teak joiner work is used throughout the interior. Outside, the 42 Sundeck has wide side-decks, and the full-width aft deck is big enough for comfortable dockside entertaining. An extremely knowledgeable yachtsman, who keeps her in pristine, and very well cared for condition, cares for “Kemosabe". She's reasonably priced and a good-handling boat; her 260-hp Caterpiller diesel engines (2119-hours) will cruise this Jefferson at a modest 15 to 16-knots, and provide a top speed of around 18-knots. “Kemosabe" is a beautiful yacht that has had no expenses spared on her, in 2004 her hull, and topsides were painted, she received all new opening ports, a new forward hatch, and new canvas with isenglass windows, just to mention a few of her upgraded ammenities; she is ready to cruise away, so please give us a call for more details or an appointment to view her.
