General Description

The Sabreline 36 is a well-crafted family cruiser with a trunk cabin profile, wide side decks, green hull and traditional all teak interior. Unlike the traditional trawler she rides on a modified v-hull giving her un-trawler-like performance.

On deck we begin at the top with a very large flybridge with full canvas enclosure with extended top. The green canvas compliments the green hull, you won't have a hard time spotting GUSTO in a marina full of white on white cruisers. Under canvas you will find a helm chair, companion chair, and bench seating. The helm stations includes: an Icom VHF, Furuno 36-mile radar, Raytheon 48-mile radar, Raytheon autopilot, Northstar GPS/Chartplotter with depth sounder, Interphase forward-looking sonar, B&G Network Quad at each station, IBM laptop with Nobeltec 7.0, LCD monitor at lower helm, and of course a horn. GUSTO comes well equipped. A few steps down is the aft deck with room for some deck chairs and is home to the six person inflatable raft. Wide side decks give access the fore deck and lower aft deck with companionway to the aft cabin. Starboard side is a deck access door to lower helm, portside is the salon entry.

Below the salon is wide open and very inviting. Large windows provide lots of a natural light. Teak paneling, trim, and cabinets provide warmth. The galley runs along the port side and features a Princess two-burner stove, a Nova Kool apartment sized refrigerator / freezer, a Panasonic microwave, a B&D toaster oven, and a double basin stainless steel sink. On the starboard side we have a u-shaped dinette with drop leaf teak table. Forward of the dinette is the lower helm with side deck access door. Forward in the guest stateroom with v-berth, hanging locker, storage, and ensuite head with vanity & Vacuflush head. The aft cabin is the master stateroom with double berth, hanging lock, storage, deck access, and ensuite head with vanity, Vacuflush head (2006) and separate shower stall. Two reverse cycle HAC units keep things comfortable.

Twin Caterpillar 3116 diesels with 350 hp each give GUSTO the performance not found in traditional trawlers. She also comes with Glendinning engine synchronizers, a Westerbeke 8kW generator, and a Westmar bow thruster. GUSTO comes well equipped.
