Join the fraternity of the Chris-Craft Commanders Club, the folks who celebrate advent of Chris-Craft fiberglass boats. According to the Club only 25 of the Salon versions were built. This more civilized and refined version of the Commander replaces the open cockpit with an aft cabin. Sea Maid Me is an excellent example of what this boat can be. Carefully maintained, her condition belies her years. She features the classic Chris-Craft lines, stepped foredeck with integrated lounge, big open, carpeted, cockpit with transom seats, helm and companion seats, a large helm station befitting a much larger boat. The cockpit comes with full canvas enclosure and a teak swim platform. Down the centerline companionway is an open and bright salon with enclosed head with vanity to your left and hanging locker to your right. The full galley runs along the portside and includes 3-burner stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, icemaker, stainless steel sink, and plenty of cabinets to store your kitchen necessities. Opposite the galley is sofa and coffee table and forward another sofa that runs the width of the salon. It all adds up to an enjoyable environment on the water or at dockside. The aft cabin is accessed from the rear of the cockpit and features a double berth and private head, vanity, and shower. Powered by twin 350hp Crusaders this beauty is ready to provide boating enjoyment for many more years.
