The PowerBoat Guide�
A popular boat in both U.S. and European markets, the President 605 began life in 1987 as the President 55 MY. President decided to call her a 57-footer the following year, and the addition of a reverse swim platform in 1991 extended her hull length to over 60' and resulted in the latest 605 MY designation. She's built on a conventional modified-V hull form with solid fiberglass below the waterline, a shallow keel, and cored hullsides. Inside, the President 57/605 is a roomy boat thanks to her extremely wide beam. The 605's standard three stateroom, mid-galley floorplan is arranged with two full heads and a lower level dinette while the earlier 57 had a deckhouse galley. Throughout, the interiors of the President 57 and 605 are finished with an abundance of well crafted teak woodwork and quality hardware. Notable features include an extended hardtop covering the aft deck area, a large flybridge with plenty of guest seating, secure sidedecks, and side exhaust ports. A heavy boat, twin 735 HP 8V92TI Detroit Diesels will cruise the president 605 at a respectable 18 knots and reach a top speed of 21-22 knots.

Accommodations
Sunshine's interior is accessed from the Flybridge through a sliding door. Her inside is carpeted, has a vinyl headliner, and fiberglass ceilings. On port is a Settee and the Lower Station with navigation equipment. On starboard is another Settee and a Wet Bar. Opposite the Galley, on port, is a private stateroom with inboard and outboard berths, a nightstand between, and overhead lockers. Forward is a locker with a washer/dryer. Further forward is a private head with a marine toilet, a vanity with sink, and a telephone type shower. The head opens to the Guest Stateroom and the Forecastle. The Forecastle has a raise queen berth, lockers along both sides, and a hanging locker. The Master Stateroom aft, has a raised king bed, lockers along both sides with a private head including a marine toilet, a vanity with sink, and a very large tub/shower. The interior climate is controlled by three AC units.

Galley
The Galley is down and on her starboard. It is equipped with a microwave, an electric oven, four burner stove, hot and cold pressure water sink, dishwasher, ice maker, as well as a refrigerator/freezer.

Engine Room
The Engine Room is located below the Salon. There are two water heaters, raycor filters on the engines and a built in fire system. The engines have air seps to keep the area free of fumes.
