General Description

This 33 Fortier is a rare classic. Custom built by Fortier Boats of Massachusetts she is one of only four built to her specifications. Fortier is known for building yachts with incredible stability and a soft, dry ride. The Fortier 33 is a New England style cruiser of exceptional quality and design. This beautiful custom is in excellent condition, has never been fished, and is ready to cruise.

From her classic bow to her open cockpit PICNIC has the lines and looks you expect of a cruiser in this class. The flybridge has a fully equipped centerline helm and features a bimini top. Below the open cockpit has transom door to the swim/dive platform, ladder to flybridge, and access to the lower helm. Lower helm features full instruments and overhead electronics including a Garmin GPS/Chartplotter, Raytheon GPS/Loran, Raytheon 24 mile radar, VHF radio, compass, and autopilot.

Below is a cabin with teak paneling, trim, and furniture with a teak & holly sole beneath you. The galley has teak cabinets with room for everything you'll need, a two-burner stove, double basin stainless steel sink, and a refrigerator. Opposite the galley is a large booth style dinette that converts to a double berth. Forward is a large v-berth and head with vanity and shower. This is a boat feels warm and comfortable below. An Espar HAC unit insures that feeling. If you are in to vinyl and plastic this is not the boat for you. If you enjoy the look and feel of teak, welcome home.

PICNIC is powered by twin BMW D190 diesels with 165 hp each and only 800 hours. They allow her to cruise at 13-14 knots comfortable with a maximum speed around 20 knots. This is a unique custom yacht with style that will stand out in any marina. Call now for more information and to schedule a showing of this classic Fortier 33.
