General Description

Arguably the best sea boat in it's class, from an era where they were built like tanks! This boat has had a complete paint job, a custom enclosure, a newer Northern Lights generator, and..... newer 230HP TAMD-41 Volvo diesels! A must see for any hardcore fisherman or for a small family looking to cruise with great economy (only 9GPH at cruise... combined!).

Interior
Entering the swing-style door from the cockpit into the air conditioned cabin you'll find the private head (with marine head, LectraSan waste treatment system, shower, and sink) immediately to port, while opposite to starboard is the galley (complete with sink and pressure water system, refrigerator, and microwave), and above the galley is a 13" TV with built-in VCR. Mid-cabin to port is the convertible face-to-face dinette which will seat 4 adults, and will sleep two when set as a berth (storage beneath both sides). Opposite the dinette is a roomy settee which also converts to sleep two more guests in bunk berths with storage drawers below for convenience. The master stateroom is forward and private, and features a huge V-berth for the owners, again with great storage below. A Panasonic AM/FM/CD player with speakers in and out provide the tunes.

Exterior
The entire hull and topsides, including all non-skid decks, have been fully painted professionally with Awlgrip. The bridge seat and cockpit bolster vinyls have been replaced. The custom 1/2 tower features a full 4-sided enclosure has been custom made and features roll-up panels on all sides. Fishing features include flush mounted gunwale rod holders, a 4-rod rocket launcher in the cockpit with 'belly' padding, newer flybridge mounted outriggers (silver with gold spreaders), four aluminum rocket launchers mounted on the aft 'bridge railing, a saltwater washdown, spreader lights on the 1/2 tower, cockpit coaming bolsters, an electric windlass and bow pulpit with dolphin nose railing to make handle the anchoring duties a snap, a fiberglass dive/swim platform with ladder for convenience, dual trumpet style horns, a tall and secure SS bow rail for safety when going forward, and a cockpit Bimini for sun/rain protection as needed. Not to mention the biggest cockpit you can imagine for fishing or just hanging out! A remote controlled searchlight makes navigating at night that much safer. The bridge features a full width bench seat for the captain and a few guests, with the bridge itself much bigger than you'd expect for a 29'er. Helm station is hydraulic, with the throttle and shift controls by Morse.

Electronics
GPS/plotter, fishfinder, VHF marine radio w/ remote speaker, compass.

Mechanical
Upgraded and repowered with the highly reliable and fuel miserly Volvo Penta 230HP TAMD-41 diesels with very low hours. These engines provide the advertised cruise speed while only burning 9-10 gallons per hour combined! The top of the line Northern Lights generator was added when the new engines went in and has only 438 hours on it.

Comments
A huge boat for a 29'er for sure, from the massive fish fighting cockpit to the expansive interior which will sleep 6. With newer engines and generator, not to mention all the other upgrades and add-ons, this boat offers exceptional value with incredible speed and economy too! A win win for any serious buyer looking for reliable quality diesel convertible at an affordable price.
