General Description

Originally a 1907 vintage Columbia River Gillnetter, the IDA J was completely redesigned and restored in Port Townsend, WA. A small cuddy forward is mainly for storage. The well deck amidships is designed for salmon trolling or hauling gear with the gypsy winch and picking boom. The pilot house and trunk cabin house the helm station and quarters. The Yanmar diesel and V-drive are mounted in the stern for a quieter ride. The vessel is equipped with a quality electronics package. The auto pilot and forward looking sounder are nice features in a vessel this size. Launched in 1996, Ida J has been surveyed as a new boat, and is classified as such by the insurance companies.
