"One of the largest American-built mid-cabin cruisers on the market the Sea Ray 460 Sundancer is an impressive yacht with a rakish profile and luxurious accomodations. While her styling is a little more sedate than most European counterparts, a wide beam and an expansive two-stateroom, two-head floorplan provide the 460 with cabin dimensions that European imports--with their relatively narrow beams--can only envy. Sea Ray interiors are among the best in the business and the accomodations of the 460 are impressive in every respect. A washer/dryer combo is built into the mid stateroom where the sofa--like the salon sofa--converts into a sleeper at the touch of a button. The forward head is huge, and the salon is large enough to entertain a small crowd. In the cockpit, the facing aft settees convert electrically into a huge sunpad, and a gas-assist hatch provides access to the engine room. Additional features include underwater exhausts, foredeck sunpad, and an optional hydralic stern platform lift for launching a PWC. A modest performer, a pair of 430-hp V-drive Volvo (or Cummins) diesels will cruise the 460 Sundancer at 23 knots (27-28 knots top)."
