Andrea is in gorgeous condition, not to mention the best twin engine value of any comps. She is a well built semi-displacement design with a solid fiberglass hull, a shallow keel, and a rather distinctive trawler-style profile. She is a two-stateroom, galley down layout with a lower helm in the salon. The interior is all teak, and the cabinetry and joinery work are quite impressive. Andrea has excellent headroom and notable features include port and starboard salon access doors and wide side decks. She is powered with twin Volvo 165 HP diesels which allow for a brisk 10 knots cruise and 12 knots top speed.

Interior
As you enter the salon from the starboard door you find the lower helm. The lower helm is well layout and has excellent visibility with the wrap around windows in the salon. In addition to the factory gauges at the helm there is a remote microphone for the Standard Horizons VHF radio and a Richie compass. Above the helm is a full width shelf that has a Sylvania TV and an On-The-Go VCR. Aft of the helm on the starboard side are two settees which are separated by a Raritan ice maker. You will immediately notice the new teak and holly flooring in the salon and the new L-shaped sleeper sofa on the port side of the salon. Further aft and down three steps you will find the full width master stateroom with its ensuite head. The ensuite head features a full tub/shower, a sink and an electric flush head. The master stateroom has a queen berth slightly off-center to port and plenty of handing lockers for storage. The master stateroom steps lift up and provide access to the engine room. Forward of the new L-shaped sleeper/sofa is the port side salon door. Forward and down three steps is the face to face dinette to port and the galley to starboard. The dinette also converts to a full size sleeper. As you enter the galley, which has teak flooring and cabinets, on the right there is a Sharp combo convection oven, toaster oven, microwave oven. Above the microwave oven is a new Origo two burner stove which is a combination electric/alcohol. On the starboard side of the galley is a double stainless steel sink with a single lever faucet. There is also a filter water dispenser. There is also a full size Tundra refrigerator/freezer. As you proceed forward in the companionway there is a split head. On the starboard side there is a sink with a mirror door above which open to storage. On the port side there is a electric head and a shower. Forward of the head is the second stateroom which has a V-berth. The Andrea has two air conditioners, one 12,000 BTU and one 16,000 BTU.




Exterior
The Andrea is white with a blue accent strip and blue canvas. The deck and handrails are teak, with all brightwork in excellent condition. The Andrea was lasted hauled in May of 2005 when she received new Awlgrip for the entire underwater hull to the main deck. The sundeck has a hardtop cover which goes forward to the radar arch. On top of the hardtop is an electric crane (davit) and provisions for a dingy. There is also an outboard engine bracket on the transom. The sundeck is very spacious and has a wet bar, barbeque and seating for all of your family and friends. There is a round table and chairs for having dinner or drinks. The bridge is accessible from the sundeck. The bridge is elevated from the sundeck which provides excellent visibility. On the port side of the bridge is a bench seat large enough for four adults. On the starboard side is an L-shaped bench large enough for four adults or sunbathing. There is a center helm with helm chair. The helm has a full array of electronic. The helm is enclosed with isinglass with zippered windows for ventilation. From the sundeck you can go forward on the side decks to the salon or continue forward to the foredeck. The foredeck is teak which matched the teak handrails. There is a fiberglass bow pulpit which has the plow anchor and Horizon 9000 remote free fall windlass. There is a second Danforth anchor with separate hawse pipe. There is also a remote controlled spot light on the foredeck. The Andrea has fender racks two on the starboard side and two on the port side.


Electronics
The Andrea has a very good electronics package including a Global Fix 406 EPIRB with GPS. There is 24 mile Raytheon radar, a DSC VHF radio with a remote microphone for the lower helm. There is also a Furuno and a Garmin GPS, the Garmin is a color GPS with cartography. On the flybridge there is a Ritchie Digital compass and a Furuno fishfinder and echo sounder. There is a Satellite phone with fixed outside antenna and computer connection (internet).


Mechanical
The Andrea is powered by twin 1985 Volvo Penta TMD diesels rated at 165 HP with 1320 hours on each. The shafts are water cooled with Sure Seals. There is an SK 150 gpd water maker. The generator is an Isuzu 9 KW with only 420 hours. The Andrea has three Odyssey batteries which were installed in March 2005. There are two electrical and one mechanical bilge pumps and an additional gray water sump pump.
