General Description

Occasionally we have a boat sail through here that is in exceptional condition when you consider the miles that have just been achieved and this 2005 Bavaria 49 is most certainly one boat that fits into this category. After sailing from Helsinki, Finland after purchased new from the factory the owners sailed west and have decided to part with the boat here in Thailand after a memorable and trouble free voyage. This five cabin 3 head version has two very large double berths aft with ensuites a V berth fwd and two twin cabins fwd of the main saloon. The owners have added some clever modifications by professional carpenter such as extra storage shelves and cupboards in the main saloon and cabins that makes you wonder why they aren't standard. The galley is a U-shaped set up with good workbench space, a two burner stove/oven, fridge and freezer and a double sink. The saloon table is big enough to seat 8-10 guest and the headroom throughout is 2M. On deck the boat is set up for long range cruising in mind with a spray dodger, instrument repeaters and a bracket for the Raymarine E80 colour display to be secured at the cockpit table. The flush deck low profile coachouse of this style from Bavaria is attractive and the twin helm walk thru transom is well suited for all applications.
